Vegan Marzipan Recipe: 3 Ingredient Recipes



Marzipan is a delicious, candy-like substance that is as versatile as it is delicious. This sweet treat is made with almonds, and though the original recipe contains eggs, this vegan version of the recipe is just as good and only 3 ingredients! So join Cat-ah and me in making a marzipan that can be used to cover a cake, to make marzipan sculptures or fruits, to cover in chocolate, or to eat all by itself!

Vegan Marzipan
Ingredients

2 cups almond flour
1.25 cups confectioner’s sugar
2 Tablespoons – 1/2 cup water (just enough to form a dough)
1-3 drops almond extract (optional)

Mix together the dry ingredients until well incorporated. Add just enough ice cold water to pull together a dough and then knead with your hands until a ball forms. If desired, add almond extract to taste.

Refrigerate for 1 hour or until ready to use.
